Work Experience
August 2011-May 2013 Radio Intern Central Wyoming College
  • Responsible for daily radio operations: uploading new music, public service announcements, and other radio elements.
  • Hosted a daily morning show.
  • In charge of producing commercials and other production values that define the station’s image.
  • Handled sports casting duties for Rustler Athletics. Sports included Men’s and Women’s basketball and Women’s Volleyball.
August 2013-March 2014 Head Sportscaster for 105.7 KYTS
  • Year-long coverage of local boys and girls high school sports, including football, basketball, volleyball and soccer.
  • In charge of preparing full broadcast coverage of games. These duties included preparing an engaging pre-game, half-time, and post-game show, while also providing clear and competent play-by-play coverage of the sporting event.
  • Worked closely with station and regional managers to ensure positive feedback from sponsors and local communities.
August 2014-October 2014 Wyopreps Friday Night Scoreboard Show Production Assistant and Social Media Coordinator
  • Assisted in the productions and delivery of a weekly sports wrap up show.
  • Recorded, archived, and added production touches to relevant play by play from that week’s action.
  • In charge of posting scores, updates, highlights, and show promotion on targeted social media platforms.
August 2015-Current Sports Director 1240 AM KASL/Cook Brothers Broadcasting
  • Head of the Sports Department at the station. In charge of all play-by-play coverage across multiple sports and multiple media platforms.
  • Hosted a daily board shift on our station. Hosted a weekly coaches show with coaches in the region. In charge of all broadcast elements including pregame, halftime and post game shows.
  • Producer of my own broadcasts and broadcast elements such as promos, commercials, kickers and interviews. Used Adobe Audition for audio elements produced for on-air.
  • Worked with businesses and community members to promote local events.
  • Worked with live video including running small HD camera. Knowledge of setting up a live broadcast for YouTube streaming.
