The Princeton (WV) Rays, (Appalachian League advance rookie affiliate, Tampa Bay Rays) have an opening for a play-by-play announcer.

Rays General Manager Jim Holland tells STAA (S-T-Double-A, http://www.staatalent.com ) that the successful candidate will broadcast all 68 Rays games, home and away. Road games are radio and Internet; Home games are Internet only. There will be no additional responsibilities.

The Rays regular season runs from June 17 thru August 22. Pay is on a per-game basis. The value in this opportunity is in the experience. Holland says it would be perfect for a recent college grad or even a current college student who is eager to gain professional play-by-play experience during the summer.
