Ronnie Lane out at ESPN Tampa; Todd Wright in?

PM drive co-host Ronnie "Night Train'' Lane is out at ESPN 1040 in Tampa. I wonder if Todd Wright, who left Yahoo! Sports Radio this week, might be a fit. Todd lives in Tampa and worked for ESPN 1040 PD Len Weiner when Len was PD at ESPN Radio Network. In fact, while I'm not certain of this, I believe Len hired Todd in Bristol.

Just a quick note that those evenings in the 1990s when ESPN Radio featured Chuck Wilson/Tony Bruno/Joe D'Ambrosio/Todd Wright was sports talk radio brilliance. Loved Todd's "All Night" show, too, before Jason Smith came in for him.

Todd Wright's Up all night show was easily my fav show in radio history. The man just has that "it" factor imo to hook listeners.

It always seemed half gameshow half sports show.
