(March 29, 2011) The Billings Mustangs announced Monday that 105.1 FM The "X" (KYSX) will serve as the team's flagship station for all radio broadcasts during the 2011 season. Each and every Mustangs game, regular season and post season, will be broadcast live in its entirety.

"We are looking forward to broadcasting our games on The "X" and developing a strong working relationship with BMG Billings," said Mustangs General Manager Gary Roller. "We believe the quality of the FM signal is an asset for our game broadcasts, and also that the family of BMG properties affords us exceptional promotional opportunities. Our commitment is to provide both our listening audience and business partners with a professional product, and we're confident that 105 The "X" will provide us with the platform to do so."

Ryan Schuiling will handle the play-by-play duties for the Mustangs broadcasts during the 2011 season. A native of Ann Arbor, Michigan, Schuiling worked for nearly 14 years professionally at various stops in both sports broadcasting and media relations, most recently serving as the radio play-by-play voice for the Toledo Walleye of the East Coast Hockey League during the 2010-11 season. Ryan previously spent three years (2007-2010) as the play-by-play broadcaster for Central Michigan University baseball, softball, football and men's basketball.

"BMG Billings and "105 The X" is very excited about being a partner with the Billings Mustangs," said Terry Strickland, BMG General Manager. "We look forward to broadcasting the games and in some way making it possible for a large group of people to join the loyal fans that support Billings favorite baseball team. The "X" 105.1 FM will be broadcasting every game this year and will be streaming so everyone will be able to tune in."

The Mustangs open the 2011 Pioneer League season on Monday, June 20 when the Great Falls Voyagers visit Dehler Park. The first pitch is scheduled for 7:05 pm MST.
