(February 28, 2011) 101 ESPN – St. Louis’ #1 Sports/Talk radio station – continues to lead the St. Louis radio industry as the #1 station among Men 25-54!
In the most recent Arbitron PPM Report for January 2011, 101 ESPN And 101 ESPN remains well ahead of their sports radio competition with an 8.4 rating overall for the 6A-7P timeslot in January’s Arbitron results. According to the January 2011 Arbitron PPM Survey results, 101 ESPN’s daily shows continued their upward trend: The “Mike & Mike in the Morning” AM Drive show increased to a 9.1 rating, “The Bob Stelton Show” is ranked #4 with a 6.9 rating in the January 2011 ratings. The show has been ranked in the Top 5 among Men 25-54 for seven straight months within its daypart. “The Bernie Miklasz Show” maintains the #3 ranking for the Midday timeslot with a 7.5 rating among the key audience demographic of Men 25-54. The show has consistently delivered Top 5 finishes for the past 7 months. “The Fast Lane” leaps to a 9.5 rating among Men 25-54, and continues to dominate the PM Drive timeslot in the #1 position. “The Fast Lane” show has Program Director Jason Barrett notes, “Being rated #1 among Men 25-54 is HUGE for 101 ESPN, particularly since this ranking includes news stations, music stations and sports/talk radio stations. The majority of sports/talk radio stations around the country base their success or failure on the Monday-Friday 6A-7P figures.” He continues, “Hitting and maintaining the #1 position for two months running means that 101 ESPN has become a “go to” St. Louis radio station among both regular listeners and sports fans alike.” Bonneville St. Louis Vice President and Market Manager John Kijowski adds, “Getting to the number one position among Men 25-54 has always been a goal for 101 ESPN, but our biggest goal is to consistently satisfy our listeners needs.
