(February 28, 2011) Sports Radio WGAM “The Game” (AM-1250 in Manchester and AM-900 in Nashua) are proud to announce that they have reached an agreement with Matt Perrault to host “The Hometeam” every weekday from 4P-6P. Perrault will be replacing longtime host Mike Mutnansky.

Perrault is returning to his roots after leaving New England 11 years ago to start his career in radio. After graduating from UMass Amherst in 1999, Perrault set out to gain the experience necessary to one day land a job talking Boston area sports. His career took him to Virginia, Alabama, Nebraska and most recently, Iowa where he hosted several highly successful sports talk shows. Matt has also guest hosted on WEEI in Boston. Perrault will join co-host Justin Bastinelli and Producer PJ Huot on “The Hometeam”.

A well rounded sports nut, Perrault has covered the NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, NCAA football and NCAA basketball in some of the most famous venues sports has to offer.

An Andover, MA native, Perrault is extremely excited to join the New Hampshire sports scene and to be part of WGAM's highly successful Hometeam program. His first show will be March 14th.

"I could not be more excited to return to home to New England to work for WGAM and co-host The Hometeam. For the past 11 years, I've been waiting for the right opportunity that would allow me to talk Boston sports on the radio. I feel like Justin and I will do an incredible show and can't wait to get started."

“We are really excited to bring Matt back to New England” said Mike Winn, WGAM General Manager. “Matt is a real pro with a passion for New England sports and we really believe the WGAM audience will appreciate the passion he brings to his job every day."
