(February 28, 2011) The Fresno Grizzlies, Triple-A affiliate of the 2010 World Champion San Francisco Giants, have signed a three-year partnership with Wilks Broadcast Group to be the new Radio Home of the Grizzlies, the club announced Monday. All 144 games in the regular season, as well as the April 5th, 2011 exhibition game against Fresno Pacific and any possible postseason games will air on KJZN 105.5 FM.

The games will continue to be called by longtime Grizzlies broadcaster, Doug Greenwald, who enters his ninth season with the organization and his 16th overall in professional baseball. Broadcasts will include a 15-minute pregame and post-game show as well.

"We have developed a great relationship with Wilks Broadcast Group over the last several seasons and are excited to call them Official Radio Home of the Fresno Grizzlies," said Grizzlies President & CEO Chris Cummings.

Wilks Broadcast Group, LLC operates top performing radio stations in growth communities. As its first transaction, Wilks acquired three radio stations serving the Fresno market in June 2005. The company has since expanded and now owns 21 stations in six markets including Fresno, Reno, Lubbock, Kansas City, Columbus and Denver.

"The Grizzlies organization is an integral part of this great community, and I am genuinely excited to see this partnership commence," said Wilks Broadcast Group Fresno General Manager Layne Ryan.
