Storm Chasers extend radio deal
(February 16, 2011) The Omaha Storm Chasers and NRG Media have extended their broadcast agreement, continuing a 15-year relationship between the club and the Omaha radio broadcasting leader. KOIL-AM 1180 will broadcast all 144 games announced by Mark Nasser, while KMMQ-AM 1020 “La Nueva” will air all 24 Friday and Sunday home games, featuring Jose Ramon on the call.
“We are proud to continue our partnership with the premier sports radio family in the Omaha area, NRG Media,” said Martie Cordaro, the Storm Chasers Vice President and General Manager. “Adding more games in Spanish this year was an easy decision because of our growing community relations outreach.” In addition to their relationship with KOIL and KMMQ, the Storm Chasers maintain a strong partner of sister station KOZN-AM 1620 “The Zone” – Omaha’s sports radio leader. _______________________
