Bob Stelton heading back to SeattlePress Release
(February 16, 2011) Bonneville Seattle Media Group announced today that long-time radio sports personality, Bob Stelton, will be joining Dave Grosby on-air weekdays from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. on 710 ESPN Seattle beginning late March.
“We are excited for Bob to make his return to the Seattle area. Bob has experienced sustained success on both the local and national levels in some of the most competitive radio markets in the country. To be able to add his energy and sports talk pedigree to our lineup is great,” said Brian Long, 710 ESPN Seattle Program Director. Stelton will be returning to the city where he got his start nearly 13 years ago. Currently the host of The Bob Stelton Show on 101 ESPN in St. Louis, Bob has also worked in Chicago and Los Angeles for Sporting News Radio. While in Seattle, Stelton hosted a weekday show on KJR AM and reported on the Seattle Sonics, Mariners, Storm and University of Washington. “I’ve known ‘Rockstar Bob’ for more than a decade when he started his career here,” stated Dave Grosby. “It is great to have him back in Seattle. We will have fun.” “I have had the opportunity to live and work in some great places but the thought of returning home and doing what I love has always been in the back of my mind,” said Bob Stelton. “Now, I’m getting that opportunity to come home and work with somebody with whom I have a great relationship. All I can say is that this show is going to be a lot of fun and it is great to be home.” _______________________
