(February 4, 2011) KILT (610 AM), KBME (790 AM) and KGOW (1560 AM) each had Radio Row positions in Dallas for Super Bowl week, but apparently there’s some fuming in the KGOW/Sporting News Radio corner. Sean Pendergast hosted SNR shows Monday and Tuesday from Dallas while brothers Doug and Ryan Stewart, aka the Two Live Stews, broadcast from their home base at WQXI in Atlanta.

The Stewart brothers, however, were in Dallas on Wednesday, and Pendergast said on his Twitter page, “I was replacing an existing network show for the week. That show got angry, it got legal. Legal won, good radio lost.” KGOW/SNR CEO David Gow said Pendergast was using the “legal” term “cavalierly,” adding, “Which is better radio is subjective.”
