(January 26, 2011) Hannah Storm, via a new multiyear ESPN contract to be formally announced Wednesday, will have a larger on-site presence at events such as the Super Bowl, NBA Finals and tennis' U.S. Open and Wimbledon. And she'll continue on behind-the-scenes projects, such as producing a film on women's soccer. And how would she feel if ESPN/ABC landed Olympic TV, which she worked for NBC: "Fantastic. There's nothing like it."

Storm, who also worked for CNN sports and CBS News and is married to NBC announcer Dan Hicks, joined ESPN two years ago for new weekday morning SportsCenter shows — "it was a great launching pad" — and still does about three shows per week.

She says ESPN, in a suburban setting where she needed five hours to get to work in a recent snowstorm, "took some getting used to. It's really big. You really have to wrap your arms around it to embrace it. But the vastness — that's what attracted me."
