Conference USA signs deal with Fox Media

(January 6, 2011) Fox Sports Media Group announced a new multi-year agreement today with ConferenceUSA for national television rights to a variety of marquee football, basketball and Olympic-sport events.

The agreement, which begins with the 2011 football season, calls for Fox Sports Networks (FSN) to show a minimum of 20 regular-season football games per season, a minimum of 10 regular-season men’s basketball games, five women’s basketball games and a variety of Olympic sports events.

The C-USA football championship game will be carried on FSN, FOX Sports or FX.

The conference’s current contract with ESPN expires at the end of the school year.
