Bob Neumeier to Comcast SportsNetCourtesy

(December 17, 2010) Veteran TV sports personality Bob Neumeier is coming to Comcast SportsNet. The former WBZ-TV (Ch. 4) sports ace - who hails from Weymouth - is joining the nightly “SportsNet Central” as an anchor Jan. 3.
Neumeier, a former WEEI-AM (850) host and NBC Sports reporter, filled in on the regional sports channel over the summer. “I’m looking forward to it. I was really impressed with the energy and the enthusiasm,” Neumeier said. Nicole Zaloumis of the Big Ten Network has also been hired as a SportsNet Central anchor.
