(December 10, 2010) College Hoops Tonight presented by Pizza Hut successfully debuted this past Thursday, December 9th, airing live from the Liacouras Center in Philadelphia prior to Temple’s matchup with Georgetown. The program’s first featured guest was Georgetown head coach John Thompson III. Temple head coach Fran Dunphy also appeared on the show, as did Rich Chvotkin, long-time radio voice of the Hoyas. It was a memorable night all around, as Temple picked up the 68-65 upset win over 9th-ranked Georgetown to give Dunphy his 400th career victory.

College Hoops Tonight will continue to air weekly from now until the Final Four every Thursday from 6:00-7:00 p.m. As it did on Thursday, the show will often broadcast live on site from some of the region’s top games. The program will air on 97.3 FM ESPN South Jersey (Atlantic City) and the Shore Sports Network - 1160 and 1310 AM WOBM (Lakewood and Asbury Park) serving fans throughout Central and Southern New Jersey and parts of Pennsylvania and Delaware. The show can also be heard online at www.973espn.com.
