Lee "Hacksaw" Hamilton gets extension at XXby STAA
(December 8, 2010) Lee 'Hacksaw' Hamilton, mid-day host on San Diego's XX-1090 Sports, has signed a 2-year contract extension to remain at the 50,000-watt all sports station.Hamilton hosts the mid-day talkshow "Sportswatch", from 10 am to 2 pm. Hacksaw is in his 24th year doing sportstalk radio in San Diego, having been the cornerstone and first talkshow host hired when the legendary XTRA Sports 690 launched in 1987, where he was also the popular Voice of the Chargers.. He continues to write freelance sports columns for San Diego.com; has done NFL football for Compass-Media Networks; and weekend baseball talkshows for XM-MLB-Network Radio. _______________________
