(December 3, 2010) The Regional Radio Sports Network is pleased to announce that Paul R. Condry and Mike Knezevich have been named as two of the three finalists for the National Sportscasters and Sportswriters Association "Indiana Sportscaster of the Year."

It marks the ninth time Condry has been a finalist and the eighth time Knezevich has been on the final ballot. Both Condry and Knezevich are three time winners of the award. Condry won the award in 2002, 2005, and 2008. Knezevich was the winner in 2003, 2004, and 2007.

"I have always felt being a finalist for this award was equal to winning this award," said Condry. "With all the talented sportscasters we have in the Hoosier state, it’s an honor for someone one to “write-in” your name in this open ballot voting format. To be included in the same company with the likes of Mike Knezevich and Don Fischer, it’s a bit overwhelming to be quite honest. I have always felt like this is a TEAM award and I have be blessed with great teammates the last twenty years. To be a finalist for the NSSA “Indiana Sportscaster of the Year” nine consecutive times is just a testament to how talented my teammates and staff truly are. I am most excited for our RRSN TEAM who I firmly believe is the best in the business at this point in time.” "I am truly honored to be a finalist for the 2010 National Sportscasters and Sportswriters Indiana Sportscaster of the Year," said Knezevich. "To be mentioned as a finalist with Don Fisher and Paul Condry is a terrific honor by itself, and for that I am extremely grateful."

The Regional Radio Sports Network team also wishes to congratulate the third finalist for Indiana Sportscaster of the Year, 20-time winner Don Fischer from Indiana University, as well as Indiana Sportswriter of the Year nominees Steve Krah from the Elkhart Truth, Scott Davidson from the South Bend Tribune, and Terry Hutchins from the Indianapolis Star. The final ballot will open on December 1 and voting will run the entire month, with winners being notified in mid- January. The award will be presented at the 52nd Annual NSSA Awards Banquet in Salisbury, North Carolina on May 16.
