ESPN LA names Dave Shore OM

(November 29, 2010) Industry veteran Dave Shore has been named Operations Manager at 710 ESPN in Los Angeles.

Shore's resume includes over 20 years in radio and TV sports, including time as Sports Director and host of KESN-FM (103.3) in Dallas. He has also been a college and professional sports play-by-play announcer, TV news and sports anchor and reporter, sports talk host and sideline reporter.

While handling Texas Tech University sports, he co-hosted a basketball show with legendary coach Bobby Knight. KSPN-AM (710) PD Mike Thompson says, "Dave’s experience in program management, sports and as an on-air contributor make him a great asset to our organization in Los Angeles. It’s honor to have Dave to come back in the company, where his talent and work ethic will boost our efforts at 710 ESPN."

Shore officially takes over OM duties on December 15. He's most recently been the ops manager for Raleigh-market ESPN affiliate "99.9 The Fan" WCMC-FM.
