* Dan Dakich, who played for Bob Knight at Indiana and who coached at his alma mater and Bowling Green, will be a game and studio analyst. Mainly he will work Big Ten Conference games on Tuesdays and Saturdays with Dave O'Brien. * Sean Farnham, formerly of UCLA, will work as a game analyst with Dave Flemming, who also has joined the network. They will work mainly West Coast Conference and Western Athletic Conference games. Farnham also will handle studio analysis on ESPNU. * Dereck Whittenburg, who played on North Carolina State's 1983 championship team and who coached at Fordham, will work ESPNU telecasts of Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference telecasts on Fridays with Doug Sherman. Whittenburg has studio analyst duties as well. In addition, Beth Mowins will handle play-by-play on men's games throughout the season, including a regular Big East Conference game with former Wisconsin guard Mike Kelley Saturdays on ESPNU. Dick Vitale, Bob Knight and Jay Bilas all return as analysts, as does Rece Davis, who will host Saturday's "College GameDay," which adds an extra hour starting Jan. 15 with analysts Bilas, Digger Phelps and Hubert Davis.
