Gelehrter to call Bearcats TV hoops

(November 2, 2010) FOX Sports Ohio and The University of Cincinnati Department of Athletics announced the six men’s and two women’s basketball games they will produce this season. In addition, the network will carry eight men’s basketball games as part of the BIG EAST Network, bringing the total to 16 UC basketball games on the state-wide network.

FOX Sports Ohio further prepares for the start of the Bearcats basketball season with a preview show. The 30 minute Inside Bearcats Basketball Preview special will premiere November 10 at 6pm with replays throughout the week. In addition to featuring highlights from last season, the show will provide analysis of this offseason and projections of the upcoming season.

The complete schedule is listed below.

Coverage of Bearcats men’s basketball begins Nov. 15 with a match-up versus Mt. St. Mary’s at 7pm. FOX Sports Ohio will also produce games featuring opponents including IPFW, Savannah State, Utah Valley State, Georgia Southern and St. Francis.

FOX Sports Ohio will also produce two women’s games featuring match-ups with Robert Morris and Marshall.

Tom Gelehrter will do play-by-play for both men’s and women’s games produced by FOX Sports Ohio. Anthony Buford will be the color analyst for the men’s games while Betsy Ross will be the color analyst for the women’s games. Brian Hunterman will produce and Dave Ashbrock will direct the games.
