Meredith Marakovits joins Sixers TVPress Release
(October 29, 2010) Comcast SportsNet Philadelphia, the leader in local sports coverage, today announced that Meredith Marakovits has joined the network as a sideline reporter for all home Sixers broadcasts. She joins longtime Sixers broadcaster Marc Zumoff and former Sixer and new color analyst Eric Snow on the Emmy-Award winning broadcast. The Sixers open their 2010-11 season on Wednesday, October 27 against the Miami Heat.
Marakovits most recent work includes covering the New York Mets and New York Yankees for ESPN 1050, and reporting for SportsNet New York. She previously covered the 76ers while working for ESPN 950 in Philadelphia. Marakovits is a graduate of La Salle University where she played Division I volleyball. _______________________
