(October 18, 2010) A group of marquee network voices are joining to form their own marketing and media company.

If Cris Collinsworth, Norman Esiason, Nick Faldo, Howie Long, Cal Ripken Jr., and Phil Simms can work together, can a "We Are the World" video be far behind?

Their company is called "The Experts Network." 16W marketing, which already represents the broadcasters individually, also has an equity stake in this new biz.

"Coming together as a group under their own company provides ‘TXN' members with a unique opportunity to collectively build an equity position in corporate sponsorships, digital media, and licensing programs," said Frank Vuno, a 16W partner.

Get it? If a company wants to hire one or more of these boys for a project they can do one-stop shopping at "TXN." SI.com has already signed TXNers for a series of "Behind the Mic" features on the website.

Since all of these guys work for TV networks, and have existing endorsement deals in place, couldn't there be conflicts with new ventures?

"We're very sensitive where we are going to place them as a group," said 16W's Steve Rosner. "We saw SI as Switzerland because it's not a direct competitor to the TV networks these guys work for."
