(October 15, 2010) Mike Thompson joins KSPN (710 ESPN) in Los Angeles as PD of the ESPN Radio O&O. He arrives from the GM/PD post at ESPN affiliate WEAE/Pittsburgh. He's also worked at WCNN/Atlanta and the Ticket in Dallas, and is a former PD of ESPN Radio's WEPN/York.

Thompson succeeds Larry Gifford at KSPN.

In Chicago, Adam Delevitt is named PD of ESPN Radio's WMVP (ESPN 1000). He moves up from APD, a position he's held since 2006, and takes over from Justin Craig, now programming WEPN.

"We're proud to strengthen two of our O&Os with the distinctive talents Mike and Adam bring to their new and richly deserved positions -- Mike with 16 years of national experience, and Adam with unabashed Windy City passion as a lifelong Chicagoan who's been with ESPN Radio 1000 since 1998," ESPN Radio Group SVP Tim McCarthy. "Each brings with them the skill to find the best on-air personalities available in L.A. and Chicago to serve their market's sports fans. That we are able to stay 'in house' to put such qualified people in these high-profiled positions speaks to the depth of talent at all levels of ESPN Radio."
