(October 6, 2010) The Yankees are the top ratings draw for Major League Baseball, so TBS has assigned its top announce team of Ernie Johnson, Ron Darling and John Smoltz to the Yankees-Twins series. Darling works Mets telecasts, and Smoltz has worked for MLB Network and ESPN in the past.

The Tampa Bay-Texas series will have Don Orsillo and Buck Martinez in the booth. Orsillo handles Red Sox telecasts and Martinez works Blue Jays games.

The Phillies-Reds series will have Brian Anderson and Joe Simpson. Anderson calls Brewers games and Simpson is a long-time voice of the Braves.

The Giants-Braves series will have Dick Stockton and Bob Brenly. Stockton has worked for numerous networks over the years, making the famous Carlton Fisk home run call in the 1975 World Series as a Red Sox guest annoucer for NBC and formerly calling CBS playoff games. Brenly is a Cubs broadcaster.

ESPN Radio has assigned Jon Miller and Orel Hershiser to the Yankees-Twins series, Dan Shulman and Bobby Valentine to the Rangers-Devil Rays series, Jon Sciambi and Dave Campbell to the Reds-Phillies series and Chris Berman (first two games), Dave O’Brien and Rick Sutcliffe to the Giants-Braves series.
