(September 16, 2010) Chris Berry, General Manager at 710 ESPN in Los Angeles, has left.
LARadio.com is reporting that the longtime ABC executive has “left the 710 headquarters”, and that “operations and programming executives from back East are in town” to inform the staff about Berry’s resignation. Berry's departure comes on the heels of the resignation of PD Larry Gifford to pursue personal interests and APD Brian Long to take over as PD at 710 ESPN in Seattle. Berry left Citadel talker WMAL, Washington (630) in January 2009 to take over all-sports KSPN in Los Angeles. Before that he had programmed in Chicago (all-news WBBM-AM) and been general manager/radio operations for ABC News and then VP at ABC News Radio.
