(August 31, 2010) Sports Business Daily reported this morning that Time Warner cable and Disney “have agreed to the framework of a deal” that will keep ESPN and ABC on the systems after Sept. 1.
According to the Daily, an agreement “may be announced this week, though it may take much longer for the deal to be signed formally.” The deal may include access to ESPN3, the network’s broadband service, the Daily reported. Capital Region subscribers will be without ESPN and other Disney properties if a contract isn’t agreed upon before Sept. 2. Read more at
