Westwood One names NFL voices
(August 25, 2010) Westwood One names its broadcaster lineup for the 2010-2011 NFL season, with Kevin Harlan joining Boomer Esiason as lead play-by-play announcer for Monday Night Football and Super Bowl XLIV. Randy Cross will provide analysis for some Monday night games and the playoffs.
Dave Sims returns as Sunday-night play-by-play announcer, joined by James Lofton, and Ian Eagle and Trent Green cover Thursday games. Sunday afternoon doubleheaders are handled by the teams of Howard David and Tony Boselli and Kevin Kugler and Mark Malone. "Three nights a week and twice on Sunday afternoon, football fans nationwide get their NFL from Westwood One," Westwood One Network President Gary Schonfeld said. "The best match-ups, the most expansive schedule of games, and the engaging voices that immerse fans in all the excitement unfolding on the fields of America's most popular sport.
