Ike Reese to be CBS3 sportscasterCourtesy

(August 24, 2010) Ike Reese, a host on SportsRadio 610 WIP and former Philadelphia Eagle, will his expand his role at sister station CBS 3.
This fall, Reese will become back-up sports anchor for CBS 3/CW Philly’s Eyewitness Sports, vice president and news director Susan Schiller said. He will continue as a contributor to CBS 3’s “Sunday Kickoff,” which debuts this year on Sept. 12. Reese is heard on WIP with Howard Eskin weekdays, 3 to 7 p.m. In his seven seasons with the Eagles and two with the Atlanta Falcons, Reese was known as a consumate team player, mostly as a back-up linebacker and special-teams contributor. In 144 games in the NFL, he was credited with 197 tackles, 6.5 sacks and two interceptions. He was named to the Pro Bowl in 2004.
