(August 20, 2010) Sportsradio 1310 The Ticket announced an expansion of its collaboration with The Dallas Morning News today. The two will join forces to coproduce an all new high school football scoreboard show called "HSGameTime" on The Ticket.

David Newbury of The Ticket and Brandon George of The Dallas Morning News will kick off HSGameTime on Friday August 27th starting at 11PM. This new feature will run for 17 weeks and will conclude at the UIL State Championships at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington.

HSGameTime will cover the biggest games in the biggest districts from across the Metroplex. Drawing from deep experience in commentary and analysis and an encyclopedic knowledge of high school sports, Newbury and George will deliver more up-to-the-minute scores, stats, and insight than anywhere else.

After tuning into the show, fans can go to HSGameTime.com for additional scores, game stories, analysis, stats, standings, schedules and more.

Cumulus Media Partners Vice President and Market Manager Dan Bennett said "We are very pleased to expand our football coverage with The Dallas Morning News. We feel by adding an in-depth high school football scoreboard to our line up on Friday nights, we continue to show a commitment, along with The News, to serving the local community."

Rich Alfano, Sports General Manager at The Dallas Morning News, said, "For nearly three decades, we've provided the best and most in-depth high school sports coverage around. No one else dedicates as many resources to covering high school sports both in print and online. Collaborating with The Ticket, with their talent and sports coverage expertise, allows us to expand our high school football coverage and more broadly serve the community."
