(August 17, 2010) One of top sports talk producer's in business Jay Cottrell has landed at WBAL Radio in Baltimore. Cottrell's first assignment will be handling the popular Sportsline program with Brett Hollander starting next Monday.

The show is the heard on 1090AM weeknight's from 6pm to 9pm and also look for WBAL to utilize his vast talents and rolodex not only to enhance Sportsline but also all the sports related programming including the Ravens in some manor.

In speaking to Cottrell today he could not hide his happiness in working at WBAL:"As someone who has grown up in Baltimore and lived around the area my whole life it has been a dream of mine to work at WBAL. The station IS Baltimore, no other station in the state has the respect, the power and the following WBAL has. For me to be part of that rich history is truly an honor and I really look forward to working with their very talented team started next week."

Cottell has worked as the producer for Steve Czaban's First Team on Fox, he has been with ESPN 980AM in Washington and is both well liked and well respected throughout the region as a first class producer and a good guy.

I have no doubt that Cottrell with a talented you man like Hollander will make a very good radio team many years to come at WBAL.
