Chris Russell jumps from JFK to TEM
(July 22, 2010) Chris Russell announces on his Facebook page that he's leaving CBS Radio sports talker WJFK, 106.7 The Fan, for Redskins owner Dan Snyder's Red Zebra-owned rival WTEM, ESPN 980.
"I am proud, honored, and excited to announce that I will be joining ESPN 980 and the Washington Redskins Radio Broadcast Team," he writes on FB. "My duties will include pre, halftime, post, and breaking news/updates during the games with the voice of the Redskins, Larry Michael, and the legendary Sonny Jurgensen and Sam Huff." Russell, a former Sporting News Radio host, will also be a regular on the afternoon "Sports Reporters" show. Read more at
