(June 11, 2010) The Blues have reached an agreement to keep their radio broadcasts on KMOX (1120 AM), where they have been the last three seasons after a seven-year run on KTRS (550 AM). The new deal, believed to be for five years, has a similar setup to the old one — the team receives no rights fees as it buys the air time and sells the advertising.

"KMOX is a great partner and has been good for us,’’ Blues CEO Peter McLoughlin said.

One element in the new deal is a provision that addresses moving Blues games to another station if a conflict arises if KMOX gets Cardinals broadcasts back.

On television, the team’s games remain on Fox Sports Midwest as a long-term deal continues. No changes are planned in either broadcast booth.
