(May 21, 2010) Last fall, Sportscasters Talent Agency of America introduced new features aimed at enhancing the value of our clients’ relationship with STAA. This included increasing their Internet presence by boosting the search engine ranking of STAA Talent Pages, and partnering with the National Sportscasters and Sportswriters Association.

Now, STAA is happy to present new website features, additional client benefits and a new STAA Associate Membership for sportscasters who aren’t in the job market but wish to get the most out of their ability and stay connected with industry news, trends and resources. These new services will help sportscasters polish their skills, build their careers, and connect with information to help them stay informed and enlightened. New Website Features

• New Talent Search Database – The STAA Talent Search database has been reformatted for maximum benefit to clients and employers. Previously, the Talent Search was divided into six geographic regions. STAA would send Talent Page links to jobs that were in each client’s region. In some circumstances, though, a client might have been located just miles from the job but would not have their link sent if they were on the other side of the regional border. No more. The geographic regions are gone. Now, STAA sends the link to job openings within 500 miles of the client’s location.
