Book looks inside minor league baseball radioPress Release
(May 18, 2010) John Leahy, STAA client and the voice of the Florence Freedom of the Frontier League, is soon to be a published author for the first time. He has written a book called "Living A King's Life", which is a day by day diary of the 2009 Kalamazoo Kings minor league baseball club as seen from his perspective in the broadcast booth.
Leahy's book will be a look at the inner workings of a minor league club on a daily basis, but it will also more importantly be an examination of how a baseball broadcaster goes about preparing for a broadcast. "As a broadcaster, the most important element of a successful broadcast is the extent to which one prepares, and the book will enlighten readers as to the importance of this function," Leahy says. _______________________
