(May 13, 2010) The show is called “First Take,” but ESPN2 today could have used a second take on its live morning show.

“Access Hollywood” special correspondent Maria Menounos, speaking with “First Take” co-host Jay Crawford about her rooting interest in the Boston Celtics, inserted in a shorthand word for barnyard manure.

“They actually get sad when I don’t live-tweet during them,” Menounos said, referring to playoff games. “because, of course, I do a little (bleep) talking. We have a lot of fun.”

The interview came about 10 minutes before the end of the two-hour show. As “First Take” signed off, Crawford acknowledged the Menounos slip and apologized to viewers.
