Milestone for Tom MeeCourtesy
St. Louis Post Dispatch
(April 2, 2010) Tom Mee, longtime director of the Cardinals' locally produced telecasts, will work in an unfamiliar stadium tonight but in a very familiar city when he oversees Fox Sports Midwest's coverage of the Cards' exhibition contest at Target Field in Minneapolis.
It will be the first big-league game in the stadium, and Mee, a Twin Cities native, will continue a tradition with ballparks in that area. He was the stage manager for the final baseball game in Metropolitan Stadium, in 1981, and for the first one in the Metrodome the following season. Making it even more special is that his son, Tom III, will behandling some of the graphics. It will be the first time they've been together on a baseball telecast. _______________________
