Sherry Ross to call Devils-Canes
(March 31, 2010) Sherry Ross, the first woman to do play-by-play in English of an entire NHL game, will be called upon to do it again Saturday night when the Devils face the Carolina Hurricanes in Raleigh, N.C.Mike (Doc) Emrick will be working NBC's game over the weekend, which means that Steve Cangialosi would normally step in and handle those duties for the Devils. But Cangialosi is ill. So radio play-by-play man Matt Loughlin will do TV with color commentator Glenn (Chico) Resch and Ross will call the action on the radio. _______________________
