David Dalati joins KFNC Houston
(March 5, 2010) David Dalati begins Monday as the afternoon sports reporter on Cumulus Media's KFNC (97.5 FM).

He will voice sports updates from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. and offer a daily feature at 5:30 p.m. during Carl Dukes' show.

“I'm fortunate that I get to stay in the same market,” he said. “To have someone interested in me, especially in this environment, was really nice.

“They've been very welcoming.”

Dalati has been in Houston radio for 27 years with previous stints at CBS Radio's KILT (610 AM) and Clear Channel's KBME (790 AM).

“His local connections and his credibility will help us provide the city with the best national and local information you can find,” said Dave Tepper, program director of the ESPN Radio affiliate.
