Al Galdi gets promotion at ESPN 980
(March 4, 2010) ESPN 980 Morning Drive Sports Anchor and Host of the Redskins Post Game Show, Al Galdi, has been named the station’s Redskin’s beat reporter and host of “Sports Saturday with Al Galdi.”

Galdi is one of the good guys who put in his time and has worked hard, now gets his chance to expand his role at ESPN 980AM.

“Sports Saturday with Al Galdi” will air Saturdays from 9am to Noon beginning this Saturday, March 6th -- and will originate from the ESPN 980 studios in Rockville. Sports Saturday will feature the hottest topics of today and the past week along with big name guests and year-round coverage of the Washington Redskins.

ESPN 980 has also named Mr. Galdi as the new Washington Redskins Beat Reporter. In this role Galdi will have extensive duties covering the team year-round on ESPN 980, the Exclusive Home of the Washington Redskins.
