Radomski to broadcast Otters baseball
Press Release
(February 22, 2010) The Evansville Otters announced the hiring of Mike Radomski as the new radio play by play broadcaster.

Radomski comes to Evansville from Quinnipiac University where he was a play by play broadcaster for the Bobcat Sports Network. At Quinnipiac, he also gained experience as a sports director for the student run radio station, WQAQ, as well as valuable television experience with the student run television station, Q30.

“We are glad to bring Mike on board for the 2010 season,” said Director of Operations for the Otters, Brandon McClish. “Mike is a talented radio personality, and I believe that our fans will really buy into his play by play style as well as enjoy his on air interactions.”

Radomski started his baseball broadcasting career in 2007 announcing Quinnipiac Bobcat baseball games and immediately fell in love. Over his college career, he broadcasted over ten different division 1 sports ranging from basketball to volleyball and everything in between. But all along the way, Radomski realized that baseball was his calling.

Mike even spent his summers getting more experience and chances behind the mic. He worked two summers in the New England Collegiate Baseball League (NECBL) as the director of broadcasting and media relations for the Pittsfield, MA franchise. He broadcasted a 42-game schedule each season, while providing press release and game summaries as well.

“It’s a great opportunity to come to Evansville and continue my career as a professional sports broadcaster,” said Mike Radomski. “I’m very excited and extremely grateful for the chance to come to a great league in the Frontier league, and a great franchise in Evansville.”

Radomski will be behind the microphone for all 96 games for the Evansville Otters this summer on WUEV 91.5 FM.xz
