Fred Manfra is expected to be back as Angel's partner, though the Orioles have yet to make an official announcement.

"This is where I want to be," Angel said in a telephone interview. "I've left Baltimore twice and come back twice, so this obviously is where I want to be. I'm ready to go."

During the past month, Angel was under consideration for a similar role with the Los Angeles Angels, who are searching for a replacement for the late Rory Markas.

The Mid-Atlantic Sports Network is also expected to announce its broadcasting team shortly, and it will be filled with several former Orioles.

According to multiple sources, the network is negotiating with former Orioles pitcher and top executive Mike Flanagan to serve as a game analyst. Flanagan would replace Buck Martinez, who left MASN to become part of the Toronto Blue Jays' broadcasting team.

Sources also said MASN is discussing roles for Brady Anderson, Mike Boddicker and Eddie Murray to be part of the broadcasting team on a part-time basis.
