(February 11, 2010) WCBS-TV sports anchors will voice some updates on New York’s all-sports “Fan” WFAN (660), while the Fan will be plugged on-screen during the late TV newscast in a ticker.
Channel 2’s Samantha Ryan (left) used to be the overnight anchor of the Fan before her TV gig, and she and Otis Livingston will be heard on WFAN, identified as Channel 2 sports talent. CBS Corporation CEO Les Moonves is encouraging similar radio/TV cooperative efforts as the two broadcast units form the new “Local Media” division of CBS. _______________________
