(January 8, 2010) ationally sixth-ranked Villanova meets defending conference champion Louisville next Monday (Jan 11) to tip off this season’s BIG EAST ISP National Radio Network schedule.

Game time is 7:00 pm (EST) from famed Freedom Hall in Louisville.

Six additional regular season games of major national interest as well as the final four days of the 2010 BIG EAST Tournament will also be featured on this year’s network, now in its third year under the production of ISP, the nation’s premier collegiate sports marketing company.

Three BIG EAST teams – Villanova (#6), Syracuse (#7) and West Virginia (#8) – are currently ranked in the national top ten with Georgetown (#12) and Connecticut (#13) not far behind. All five schools are included in this year’s network package (see schedule below).

STAA client Brock Bowling, a member of ISP’s fulltime broadcast team, will handle play-by-play duties on the network, while former Villanova standout and All-BIG EAST performer John Celestand returns this year as color analyst.

The list of network affiliates will vary each broadcast depending upon game times, previous station commitments and blackout restrictions protecting BIG EAST member school networks. The preliminary list has stations representing a number of the country’s top radio markets, including New York City, Houston, San Diego, Denver and Washington, DC.
Selected network games will also be carried on Sirius XM Radio as well.

The complete 2010 schedule follows
JAN 11 – Villanova at Louisville
JAN 18 – Syracuse at Notre Dame
JAN 25 – Georgetown at Syracuse
FEB 8 – Villanova at West Virginia
FEB 15 – Connecticut at Villanova
FEB 22 – West Virginia at Connecticut
MAR 1 – Georgetown at West Virginia
MAR 10-13 – 2010 BIG EAST Tournament
