Johnstown Chiefs land radio deal
(October 15, 2009) The Johnstown Chiefs announced today their radio broadcast schedule and their radio broadcast partner for the 2009-10 season.

This season the Chiefs radio broadcasts can be heard on 1490-AM WNTJ in Johnstown and AM-990 WNTW in Somerset. WNTJ and WNTW will carry 54 games live on air this season while the entire 72-game schedule will be carried live free of charge via the Chiefs’ website, www.johnstownchiefs.com courtesy of B2 Networks.

Returning for his third season as “The Voice of the Chiefs” on WNTJ and WNTW as well as B2 Networks is Johnstown native Ray Schmitt. All broadcasts will begin 15 minutes prior to faceoff with the UPMC Pregame Show, and will be followed by the Chiefs Postgame Wrap.
