STAA's Washington hosting scoreboard showPress Release
(September 30, 2009) High school football scores from across the nation can now be heard three times a weekend thanks to the creation of a new show by one of STAA's own.
Alvin Washington, who recently ended a two-year stint with KAPE/Cape Girardeau, MO as its sports director, has been tapped by Rhode Island-based EZStream.com as the host of the new Coast 2 Coast High School Scoreboard. The show, already two weeks into production, gives fans of the National High School Broadcast Network - the main arm of EZStream - a chance to hear scores from their game and others across the country, including the Top 25. This isn't the first dance Washington has had with EZStream, having been tapped as a Midwest affiliate of the firm seven years ago when he was at ISNet Chicago, a company he helped found and is now creating a Missouri division. The Coast 2 Coast High School Scoreboard can be heard through NHSBN.com. _______________________
