Atlantic League playoffs on iBNPress Release
(September 22, 2009) Internet sports television broadcaster iBN Sports announced last week that it will be covering the Liberty Division Championship Series in the Atlantic League of Professional Baseball starting this Thursday, September 24th at 7:05 PM. As the baseball season winds down, the excitement escalates and baseball fans across the world will be able to tune in live at www.ibnsports.com to watch these two professional teams try to extend their seasons into October.
The Long Island Ducks, now celebrating ten years in the Atlantic League, clinched the final spot in the 2009 Playoffs last Wednesday evening. The Southern Maryland Blue Crabs, co-owned by Baltimore Orioles legend Brooks Robinson and only in their second year of existence, will be heading for their first playoff appearance. Somerset and Newark are the other two teams competing for a spot in the Atlantic League Championship.
