Sportscaster Lee Hamilton joins XX Sports RadioPress Release
(September 18, 2009) The Broadcast Company of America is pleased to announce the addition of Lee "Hacksaw" Hamilton to the talent lineup of XX-1090 Sports Radio.Hamilton's show will air Monday through Friday, from 3-to 7pm, beginning Monday, October 5th, 2009. BCA Vice President of Programming/Operations Jack Evans announced the signing on Thursday night. Hamilton is pleased to be back on center stage with former employers, Evans, and John Lynch. "Afternoon drive sports-talk, a 50,000-watt signal, Padres baseball and all star lineup. What a great combination. John Lynch created sports-talk radio in San Diego; Jack Evans programmed it. It is great to re-link with them. It's time to recreate the magic." BCA President and CEO John Lynch said "now that he is here, I remember vividly the day Hacksaw came to interview to become the play-by-play Voice of the Chargers, and introduce San Diego's first sports-talk station in 1987.
