The Game PD James Derby exits

(September 15, 2009) After nearly 10 years on SW Bancroft, program director James Derby is saying goodbye to the studio at the bottom of a hill. OMC learns that Derby, PD for both news/talk 750 KXL and sports talker "The Game" (95.5 KXTG) in Portland is moving to Federated Media in South Bend, Indiana.

In an email to staff, Derby says he wishes Alpha Broadcasting "the very best and hope you all great success here in Portland!"

Previously, Derby worked at KDUK Eugene, KFXX and KGON Portland, and KUIK in Hillsboro.
