(September 9, 2009) Alpha Broadcasting's 95.5 The Game has poached Jason Quick, The Oregonian's Portland Trail Blazers reporter, from Entercom's 1080 The Fan, OMC has confirmed.
Though Quick says the move was a tough decision, he adds that "The Game has a vision which intrigues me." Without any original reporting, The Fan is left searching for a new contributor among possibilities like the Portland Tribune's Kerry Eggers or The Columbian's Brian Smith, while The Game picks up a Blazers insider with over a decade of experience covering sports for The Oregonian. Quick was scheduled to go on The Game's air yesterday. _______________________
