Sportscaster Kornheiser joining WTEM

(August 31, 2009) Redskins owner Dan Snyder's ESPN 980, WTEM, announced during this weekend's Skins preseason game that Tony Kornheiser will indeed be heard on WTEM in the 10 AM to noon slot, starting September 8th.

There've been lots of rumors but no confirmation of a signed deal between the two. More: Another DCRTVer sends us a pic from FedEx Field last night (right). Does the wording mean that Kornheiser will air on Tuesdays only and not Monday-through-Friday? UPDATE: Kornheiser will be heard each weekday at 10 AM, according to ESPN 980's Facebook page.
