(August 14, 2009) The University of Oregon’s athletics department’s daily online show, “GoDucks LIVE with Jerry Allen,” will expand its audience to the radio airwaves beginning Monday, Aug. 17, with the first hour of the program also to be broadcast by the school’s Eugene/Springfield Oregon Sports Network radio affiliate, according to a joint announcement by the Ducks’ Senior Associate Athletics Director Joe Giansante and Cumulus Broadcasting.

Initially launched last spring as a two-hour production on the internet hosted by Oregon’s veteran play-by-play announcer Jerry Allen, the first hour of the daily program will be simulcast beginning next week on KUGN (590 AM) from 8 – 9 a.m. every Wednesday, as well as during the same time slot Monday through Friday on KSCR (1320 AM). The entire program can still be accessed worldwide from 8 – 10 a.m. daily via Oregon’s athletics department website, www.GoDucks.com.

The program will continue to offer insights into all aspects of the Ducks’ athletics departments and sports pro-grams, including interviews with the school’s coaches, student-athletes and administration.

Included in the format will be an exclusive weekly segment with Oregon’s Director of Athletics Mike Bellotti every Wednesday from 8:15 – 9 a.m., as well as a weekly feature with first-year football head coach Chip Kelly from 8:15 – 8:30 a.m. each Tuesday.

The show originates from the Duck Store in the northwest corner of the Moshofsky Center and features the ability for fans to e-mail (live@goducks.tv) or tweet (www.twitter.com/goduckstv) their questions to be read on the air.
